Weekly tarot card reading horoscope by sign, July 25, 2022

You don’t need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your sun sign! Here’s what I do: shuffle my tarot deck and take out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces, plus a general card for everyone so you can get specific advice on your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR ALL: TEN OF BAGUETTES

Property of Hearst

This has all become a little too recently, hasn’t it? We all have limits, boundaries, and levels of ability…and sometimes we all push past them and go into ~burnout~. The Ten of Wands gives us all permission to trim this week. Focus on the most important tasks and let go of everything else. Remember there is not much you can do. As my father always said, “You can only do the work of a shift in a shift.” Stop overdoing it.

ARIES: ACE OF WANDS

the ace of wands tarot card, showing a black and white hand holding a golden key above a full moon

Property of Hearst

It’s time for a new hobby, Aries. The ace of wands is a signal to introduce an inspiring or creative activity into your world this week. Maybe it’s a class or a workshop, a contest or a game, a podcast or a book. I don’t know what floats on your boat, but this activity certainly will. Take a look around and find something to get involved in.

TAURUS: THE CHAR

the tarot card the chariot, showing two hands under a diamond and a circle in a starry sky

Property of Hearst

The Chariot is a powerful card about travel, momentum, and movement with purpose. It can literally point to vehicles, transportation, and vacations, or it can be a more abstract nudge to focus your gaze on a dignified (metaphorical) horizon and make a plan to set off in its direction. Either way, you’re on the move, Taurus.

GEMINI: PENTACLES PAGE

the tarot card the page of pentacles, showing a golden clock and two eyes over a diamond and a starry sky

Property of Hearst

Still a student, you have a lifelong passion for learning. The Page of Pentacles gives you the opportunity to educate yourself this week. Maybe it will be a real course or a training event. Maybe it will be a situation that seems difficult – most life lessons come in the form of difficulty, after all. Or maybe it will be advice. Keep your eyes and ears open.

CANCER: KING OF CUPS

the King of Cups tarot card, showing a golden goblet on a starry background with a full moon and a crown-shaped diamond behind

Property of Hearst

So many people depend on your wise counsel, your warm heart, your patient ear and your comforting hugs. You like to take care of people! The King of Cups sees you tending to the wounded, vulnerable and needy this week. A line of people asking for your help will form…but that’s all good. This job makes you feel strong, valued, and wise. Because that’s exactly what you are!

LEO: SEVEN OF CUPS

tarot card seven of cups

Property of Hearst

A little-known trait of you is your vast and visionary imagination. You can literally have visions of how you want things to be, and you can communicate them as well. It’s part of what makes you a natural leader. The Seven of Cups offers you this week a vision of the future. It’s something to involve others. Put your ideas on paper and share them. This is what you should work on next.

VIRGO: FOUR OF SWORDS

four of swords tarot card

Property of Hearst

It’s time to relax, Virgo. You’ve fired on all cylinders recently and need to reload, recalibrate, and restart. If you continue without resting, you will simply exhaust yourself. The Four of Swords reminds you that you cannot pour from an empty jug. Take a step back, withdraw and seek solitude. You need to rest.

LIBRA: TEN OF PENTACLE

ten pentacles tarot card

Property of Hearst

Prioritize what really matters in your long-term future this week, Libra. Everything else can wait. The Ten of Pentacles asks you to think about your home, your family, your finances, your health and your well-being. Focus on what is most important and what gives you the most security and fulfillment.

SCORPIO: STRENGTH

tarot card strength, showing an eye on a full moon and an upside-down pair of lips on a diamond, both in a starry sky

Property of Hearst

Strength is an appropriate card for you because you are (probably) the strongest star sign. You have depths of courage, power, confidence, and independence that others simply don’t have (or they have to work long and hard to achieve). The force asks you to share your power. Make good use of it and focus where there is weakness or vulnerability. Be a light in someone’s darkness this week, Scorpio.

SAGITTARIUS: SIX OF SWORDS

six of swords tarot card

Property of Hearst

It’s time to say goodbye, Sagittarius. You knew this would happen for a while, so it’s no surprise. The Six of Swords asks you to close a chapter that has come to its natural conclusion. Close the door on a path you’ve already traveled. It won’t be sad or hard because the time has come. Every ending simply heralds a new beginning, anyway. From!

CAPRICORN: SEVEN OF SWORDS

a hand holds seven golden pens on a diamond background

Property of Hearst

Ruled by Saturn, you usually do the right thing. Sometimes, however, you are forced to act in a way that works for you even if it hurts others. Cap, think again. The Seven of Swords waves a little ~red flag~ about a decision you’re facing. Don’t take the path of least resistance. It might work in the short term, but in the long term it will lead to guilt and maybe even negativity from others. Take the high road.

AQUARIUS: TEN OF CUPS

ten of cups tarot card

Property of Hearst

Romance and love are your magic ingredients for the week ahead. Follow Cupid to find your heart’s desire! Take your sweetheart on a romantic date, ask your lover, or just decide to be open to the person you’re attracted to in the next seven days. The Ten of Cups promises action! Enjoy!

FISH: TWO OF STICKS

the tarot card the two wands, showing two golden keys on a pink sky and a diamond

Property of Hearst

Procrastination gets you nowhere, and in fact makes it worse. Maybe you thought this situation would sort itself out if you just left it alone, but it doesn’t. You fall into stagnation and paralysis. The Two of Wands tells you to make a choice and act now. Don’t think about it too much!
